Pinwheels Blow in the Wind

Yesterday afternoon we made pinwheels. We made pinwheels to help us to find out what way the wind is blowing for our kite flying today.

We use a square piece of paper and folded it into halves and then into quarters. We dotted some lines with our pencil, so we could cut the blades. We folded each blade back and secured it with a pin onto an ice-block stick.

They looked amazing when they were all finished and blowing in the wind.

I think we made a good job making the pinwheels. They looked really cool all together with the colours.

We liked making the pinwheels with Room 6, and a lot of people were walking around and trying to make their pinwheel work. There was a lot of people helping others.
